邀请人的公民证/美国护照/美国签证复印件等体现邀请人长期居留美国的证件；说明收入情况、职务及其受雇时间的工作证明或学校就读证明信，最近的六个月的工资单，反映最近六个月以来日常收支状况的银行证明，美国签证的拒签率是比较高的特别是单身年轻女性。如果你的朋友有去过其他国家护照不是白本还好点，还有财产证明最好提供齐全，房产证，行驶证和5万或者5万以上的存款证明等。我是在美留学生，如何邀请朋友来美国带着邀请书，公司开的工作证明，工资证明， 财产证明， 月收入证明。如果是学生那么就要开在读证明。 然后和美国大使馆约时间。
这是邀请父母或朋友去美国的一个流程可以参考一下。
邀请人的材料：
1. 邀请信 （中英文各一，上学的再找学校的isso ，和系里写邀请信, 上班的就让单位写，当然这些信主要是说明你的身份收入等情况的， 来参加毕业典礼的就说毕业，没的就说你忙的回不去，又很想念父母，还有其它的结婚 什么的就因人而易。）
2. 邀请人在美身份证明。 i-20 (or i-797 for h1b), passport, visa, i94, and social security card photocopies.
3. 亲属关系证明，比如出生公证，亲属关系公证，说明你跟被邀请人的关系。
4. 财力证明。i-134 表(我觉得最好还是有，反正是个容易的小表表）：

填完以后找个公证员 (notary)公证一下，很多象秘书一类的人都有个公证员的小本本， 找找你们学校（单位）的directory就好了。一份10块钱，给父母分别作一份 （遇上好人应该只收你一份钱）。
有了i-134， 还要加一些supporting material. 一般来说，付上3个月左右的银行statement, 或者让银行给个reference letter (要等2周左右，有的银行，比如wellsfargo，这个服务是收钱的，而且checking and saving开在两封信上，收20块，citibank 是免费的）最后再附上你近期的工资单。w-2也可以附上。
5. 其它的材料根具个人情况而定：来参加毕业典礼的，可以附成绩单，学位证明，还没答辩的找研究生院写信（他们也可以写邀请信），结婚还可以附配偶的材料（同上2，4）。
父母和朋友要准备的材料：
1. 身份证明材料， 包括护照，身份证，户口本（可能不是必须的，带上也无妨），父母一起去签证的，还可以带上结婚证明。
2. 在国内工作证明。请假证明。退休证明。 总的原责，别让人觉得是在国内混不下去了。另外也证明父母和朋友在国内是有经济来源的。
3. 财力证明。父母经济条件好的，当然钱越多越好，一般的也没关系，只要收入在所在地区属于平均水平，能说明他们在中国有办法生活就行了。银行存折，股票，存单什么的都能拿来做证明。
4. 房产证明。
5. 其它子女证明。比如工作证，户口本什么的，再配上一个亲属关系公证就完整了。
6. 照片。 各个时期的全家福最能说明问题，还可以选一些你们认 为有代表性的。
总的原则，帮助说明父母只来探亲旅游，不会长期居留。
申 请 这 两 种 签 证 的 必 备 材 料 如 下：
b－1 签 证：b-1签证签发给赴美从事短期商务活动的申请人。商务活动包括协商签订合同、参加展览或会议、短期培训或与供应商或客户洽谈业务。b-1签证的持有者不得在在美停留期间就业。b-1签证的申请人应在面谈时携带其拟在美从事商务活动的相关材料，包括：
* 发自美国邀请方的邀请函原件，详细说明访美目的、在美停留时间以及由谁提供所有费用
* 与美方凯发国际体育的合作伙伴签订的合同、其它协议或来往信件等证明与美国邀请方的合作关系
* 如赴美检测、购买机器、软件或其它设备，请提供该设备的相关信息，如产品宣传手册或产品目录等
* 证明在中国的公司真实性的文件，如公司的营业执照、信用证明以及所从事的商务活动的证明文件
* 申请人还需提供文件证明中国对其具有非常牢固的约束力，如：存折（不要银行存款证明）、在职证明、财产证明、结婚证、家庭合影等等（不仅限于此）
* 如申请人曾经访美，请提供相关文件给予证明
b－2 签 证：b－2 签证签发给赴美国旅游的申请人，包括观光、治病、探亲访友以及参加会议。该签证持有者不得在美国停留期间就业。申请人需要出示：
* 美方亲友的身份证明，如：护照和签证复印件、绿卡复印件。
* 美国的亲属或朋友的邀请信，或证明参加了旅游团或会议的信件。
* 证明申请人经济能力或在美国亲友的经济能力的文件。
* 证明申请人个人情况的文件，如结婚证书，在职证明，存折（不要银行存款证明），工资单，等等。
写给签证官的信 （一页以内）
每个人情况不同，信的内容也不同。我觉得大体上可以分这么几个部分：
先介绍一下你自己的情况，比如在什么地方学习，工作，什么时候来的美国，回去 过几次等等。
你邀请父母or 朋友来的理由。呆多久，旅游费用由谁回负担
强调父母or朋友不会在美国居留，比如要回去工作读书，在国内有房产其他子女什么的。这段找 你认为最强的理由写，别太长了，留一两个父母or 朋友肯定能答的小问题给签证官问好了。

"b" nonimmigrant visas - visitor visas for business and pleasure

qualifying for a visa
applicants for visitor visas must show that they qualify under provisions of the immigration and nationality act. applicants must demonstrate that they are properly classifiable as visitors under u.s. law.
the presumption in the law is that every visitor visa applicant is an intending immigrant. therefore, applicants for visitor visas must overcome this presumption by demonstrating that:
* the purpose of their trip is to enter the u.s. for business, pleasure, or medical treatment;
* that they plan to remain for a specific, limited period;
* evidence of funds to cover expenses in the united states;
* evidence of compelling social and economic ties abroad; and
* that they have a residence outside the u.s. as well as other binding ties which will insure their return abroad at the end of the visit.
where do i apply for a visitor visa?
applicants for visitor visas should generally apply at the american embassy or consulate with jurisdiction over their place of permanent residence. although visa applicants may apply at any u.s. consular office abroad, it may be more difficult to qualify for the visa outside the country of permanent residence.
